This place is in a wonderfully peaceful location, just a short walk to a restaurant that unfortunately didn't serve breakfast, as well as a very interesting museum. Plus, it's situated on the beautiful West Coast of Tasmania. 🌊.

I had been eager to explore the iconic Spray Tunnel during my visit to Zeehan, which is why I chose to stay at Heemskirk Motor. I was pleasantly surprised by the free on-site parking, accommodating for larger vehicles, making my trip much easier. the breakfast was delightful as well, featuring a continental buffet complete with Nespresso coffee, a perfect way to start my day before heading out.
Booked a deluxe queen room. Was put in a double room right next to smoking area and ash tray full of cigarettes.

Enjoyed the mossy forest nearby, great for a family walk. the kitchen was handy for quick meals, but it lacked some basic utensils. Discovery of the Eureka Wall at the local heritage centre was a highlight. the noisy crew from the mine was amusing; I felt like I was back in Melbourne! the lemon biscuits were a sweet surprise—a true comfort after a long day in the Tasmanian wilderness!

The hotel's location was really convenient, close to a supermarket and with plenty of parking available. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had great water pressure in the shower.
The wifi was quite dodgy and the bed was a bit small. The restaurant had limited options and the service was slow, taking almost two hours to get our food served.

The meals were fantastic, especially the local Salmon dish! the breakfast was also a standout, with tasty mushrooms and a very filling meal. the location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions and there was a convenient IGA store nearby. we had a comfortable stay.
The room was not as clean as we expected. the cupboards were filthy and there was a noticeable smell in the room, likely caused by the location above the kitchen extraction fan.
